The ₹49 royalty does not apply to complimentary copies, author purchases, refunded orders or every possible distribution channel.

Publishing fee ₹5,000 ÷ royalty ₹49 = 102.04.
Therefore, 103 eligible sales would produce ₹5,047 in gross royalties.

Is royalty guaranteed?
No. Royalty earnings depend on actual eligible book sales.
Do I earn ₹49 when someone buys my book?
₹49 is the stated royalty for each qualifying sale. Eligibility and payment conditions are governed by the publishing agreement.
Will I earn royalties from my complimentary author copies?
No. Complimentary author copies are not retail sales.
Can I sell copies myself?
You may enquire about purchasing additional author copies for personal distribution. The applicable author-copy and royalty terms must be clarified.
Does INKDEW guarantee 100 or 1,000 sales?
No. No sales volume is guaranteed.

Important terms
Simple Pricing. Clear Terms. No Confusion.
1. Language
The ₹5,000 base package is for English-language books only. For Odia, Hindi, Bengali or other languages, additional typesetting/DTP charges of ₹30 per page apply, subject to project acceptance.
2. Maximum page count
The base package covers a book of up to 120 pages.
3. Extra pages
Manuscripts above 120 pages cost ₹100 per additional page. For English books without other paid additions: 120 pages ₹5,000 · 130 pages ₹6,000 · 150 pages ₹8,000 · 200 pages ₹13,000.
4. Non-English DTP
Non-English books carry ₹30 per page for DTP/typesetting. Any extra-page charge may also apply.
5. Additional services
Services not expressly included may need a separate quotation, for example developmental editing, advanced proofreading, translation, ghostwriting, premium cover illustration, audiobook, book trailer, paid advertising, PR, author website, advanced marketing and expanded distribution. Many of these are available on request.
6. Sales and distribution
Amazon and INKDEW listings do not guarantee purchases, discoverability, reviews or bestseller status.
7. Royalty
Royalty applies only to qualifying sales under the agreed royalty policy.
8. Production and delivery
Timelines depend on manuscript readiness, proof approval, production requirements and logistics. No delivery date is guaranteed.
9. Refunds and cancellation
Payment, cancellation and refund terms will be communicated in the applicable publishing agreement before confirmation.
10. Promotional deadline
The offer is valid until 31 October 2026 at 11:59 PM IST, subject to the published offer terms.
